MAY 2001
NEW YORK CITYJelly Associates announces the highly anticipated launch of the graphic design studio's fancy new website, www.jellyassociates.com.
Since Jelly's NYC headquarters officially opened in December 2000, founders Miriam Bossard and Amy Unikewicz have been creating books and publications, corporate identity, music packaging, web sites and original illustrations for cultural and commercial clients including Allworth Press, Avex USA Records, Oxford Bath and Home, Hochbaum Design / Chronicle Books, School of Visual Arts, Swissair Gazette and The New York Times.
Highlights of the new Jelly Associates site include an online portfolio of recent print and digital projects reflecting the studio's multi-disciplinary agenda, and a look at the partners' personal work from exhibition installations to original book concepts in a section appropriately entitled "happy hour." Visitors can also experience a playful peek into the Jelly world of "input" and graphic inspiration, as well as a flash photo tour of images found throughout their Hell's Kitchen neighborhood.
Visually, the site is a showcase for the partners' original photography and quirky collections and is an extension of their individual creative aestheticswhich draw upon a myriad of influences including asian art and culture, urban artifacts, vernacular signage, printed ephemera and feminine kitsch.
Jelly Associates is a graphic design partnership founded on a creative idealto continually learn, observe and reinvent ways of communicating through design. For more information, visit www.jellyassociates.com, email jelly@jellyassociates.com or phone 212 971 0028.
