A-to-Z Competition Winners:
Jelly's "Happy Hour" Installation

By substituting 496 paper drink umbrellas for pixels, we created a center piece of the studio’s name for Jelly’s opening party at Salon Gallery in SoHo. The piece was a festive billboard that also reinforced the studio’s identity as a recontextualization of everyday ephemeral items in a surprising way. Additionally, it allowed us to make a visual comment on digital ideas vs. tactile experiences. (48 x 96”)
